What is Bisodol Indigestion Relief Powder?

Bisodol Indigestion Relief Powder - a unique rapid action formula containing two different antacids which quickly and effectively neutralise excess acid in the stomach to provide effective, rapid relief from acid indigestion, heartburn and trapped wind.

Dosage:

Take one level teaspoonful (5 ml) of powder and stir well into about one-third of a tumbler of water (warm or cold) after meals, or as required.

Not recommended for children under 12 years.

Each 5 ml dose (approx. 0.9 g) contains:

• Sodium Bicarbonate: 532 mg
• Light Magnesium Carbonate: 345 mg
• Heavy Magnesium Carbonate: 18 mg

Sodium content 162 mg per gram of powder.

Also contains peppermint oil flavouring.

If you are pregnant, talk to your doctor before using this medicine.

SPEAK TO YOUR DOCTOR OR PHARMACIST BEFORE TAKING BISODOL INDIGESTION RELIEF POWDER IF YOU ARE TAKING TETRACYCLINE ANTIBIOTICS OR IRON TABLETS.

Overdose

If you take too much Bisodol Indigestion Relief Powder it is unlikely to cause you any harm. However, you may experience diarrhoea or bloating. Consult your doctor if these symptoms do not go away.

 

Side Effects

Some patients may experience side effects such as diarrhoea when taking Bisodol Indigestion Relief Powder. If an unwanted side effect is severe or lasts for more than a few days, you should tell your doctor.

If you take Bisodol Indigestion Relief Powder over a long period of time you may suffer a temporary worsening of your symptoms when you stop taking the product. This symptom is called rebound hyperacidity. Consult your doctor if this symptom does not go away.
